Privacy Policy

Introduction
This privacy policy applies to the Gownify app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Farid Buijse, an individual developer based in Belgium (hereby referred to as "I", "me", or "the Service Provider"). The Application is free to download, with optional one-time in-app purchases of credits ("integral") used to pay for AI generations. There are no subscriptions. The Application is intended for use "AS IS".

By installing or using the Application, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• The version of the Application you are using
• Server-side request metadata and error records needed to operate the service and diagnose problems
• Purchase transaction records handled by Apple's In-App Purchase system (the Application does not see or store your payment card details)
• In-app event data reported through the Adjust SDK, such as app installs and usage of core features (for example, generating a result or making a purchase)

The Application does not collect precise location data. The Application does not use advertising services, and Adjust is used solely for event reporting. I do not sell your personal data.

Visitor Mode and Sign-In
The Application supports two ways of using it:

• Visitor mode: you can use the Application without signing in, including generating try-on results. Your generated results are stored on the server and linked to this installation of the Application so you can view them in "My Works" and delete them at any time. If you later sign in with Apple or Google, your visitor data (including your results and credit balance) will be synced to your signed-in account.
• Sign in with Apple: when you sign in, Apple provides the Application with a stable user identifier and, if you choose, a name. The Application does not receive your email address unless you explicitly choose to share it with the Application through Apple's "Share My Email" option.
• Sign in with Google: when you sign in, Google provides the Application with your Google account identifier, name, and email address.

Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple Inc., and Sign in with Google is provided by Google LLC. Their handling of your data is governed by Apple's and Google's privacy policies respectively.

Photo Access
To upload a photo, the Application uses Apple's built-in photo picker. You choose which photos to make available to the Application; the Application does not request access to your entire photo library. The Application does not request camera permission. If you choose to save a generated result to your photo library, the Application will request add-only photo library permission for that purpose.

Face Data
The Application processes user-uploaded images, which may contain human faces.

• The Application processes faces solely to render the virtual try-on result you requested.
• The Application does not create, store, or use biometric identifiers such as facial recognition data, facial geometry, or faceprints to identify you.
• Face data is never used for identification, tracking, profiling, or biometric analysis, and is never used for advertising purposes.

User-Uploaded Photos and AI Data Processing
The AI features in the Application are powered by my own in-house AI service, running on servers located in the United States.

• Your uploaded photo is sent to this service only to generate the try-on result you requested.
• The original uploaded photo is permanently deleted from the server immediately after the result image has been generated and delivered to your device.
• The generated result image is kept on the server so that you can access it again from "My Works" inside the app. You can delete any result image at any time from within the app.
• Your uploaded photos and generated result images are NEVER used to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve any AI model, now or in the future.

Third Party Access
The Application does not use third-party advertising, social media, or AI-as-a-service providers. The third-party services the Application interacts with are:

• Apple Inc. — for Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase processing.
• Google LLC — for Sign in with Google.
• Adjust GmbH — for event reporting only. Adjust processes in-app event data (such as installs and feature usage) to provide analytics and measurement. Adjust does not receive your photos or generated results.

These services act as data processors and do not use the data provided to them through the Application for their own unrelated purposes.

In-App Purchases
The Application sells a virtual currency ("integral" / credits) used to pay for AI generations. All payments are processed exclusively by Apple through the iOS In-App Purchase system. The Application does not collect, store, or process your payment card information. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.

Data Retention Policy

• Uploaded photos: permanently deleted from the server immediately after the result image has been generated and delivered to your device.
• Generated result images: kept on the server until you delete them in the app or until you delete your account, whichever comes first. When you delete your account, all result images are permanently deleted immediately.
• Account data (Sign in with Apple or Google identifier, display name, email address, credit balance, purchase records): kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, this data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Server logs (request metadata, error records): kept only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention, and no longer than 30 days.
• Event data reported through Adjust: retained only as long as necessary for analytics and measurement, in accordance with Adjust's data retention settings.

Data Deletion by the User
You can delete any generated result image from inside the app at any time. You can request full account deletion from the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account, all of your result images are permanently deleted immediately, and your account data (including your credit balance and purchase records) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Data Protection
I store and protect your personal information against unauthorized access using industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on production systems.

Children's Privacy
The Application is intended for users aged 18 and over. The Application does not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If I become aware that data from a person under 18 has been inadvertently collected, it will be permanently deleted as soon as possible.

Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area, I rely on the following lawful bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Performance of a contract: processing your uploaded photo to generate the try-on result, maintaining your account, and managing your credit balance and purchases.
• Legitimate interest: keeping server logs for security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection, and event reporting through Adjust for analytics and measurement.
• Consent: where you have explicitly chosen to share your name or email through a sign-in provider, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Your Rights under GDPR
As the Application is provided by a Belgium-based developer and may be used by people in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

• The right to access the personal data I hold about you.
• The right to request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• The right to request deletion of your personal data.
• The right to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data.
• The right to data portability, where applicable.
• The right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International Data Transfers
The data associated with the Application's core service (your uploaded photos, generated results, and account data) is processed on servers located in the United States. When you use the Application from outside the United States (including from the European Economic Area), you understand that this data will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. For transfers from the EEA to the United States, I rely on appropriate safeguards under applicable law, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, to ensure that your personal data remains protected. Google and Adjust may process sign-in and event data in other regions, as described in their own privacy policies.

Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted in this document with an updated effective date. If the changes are material, I will make a reasonable effort to notify you through the Application. Where legally required, I will seek your consent to material changes in how your personal data is processed.
